Yes. RRA's can earn credits with eRADIMAGING's courses. RRAs are required to complete 50 CE credits within a biennium. A minimum of 25 of the 50 CE credits must be earned through activities designated as Category A or Category A+. Yes. All of eRADIMAGING courses are eligible for international radiographer CPD requirements. Radiographers have the flexibility to choose CPD options that best suit their own needs, including CPD activities offered by overseas providers like eRADIMAGING.
All RT's must earn 24 CE credits every two years. This two-year period is called a biennium. Your biennium is assigned by the ARRT®, and is linked to your birth month and the year of your initial ARRT® examination.
Your biennium begins on the first day of your birth month and ends two years later on the last day of the month before your birth month. For example, if your birthday is July 15, your biennium begins on July 1 and ends two years later on June 30.
RT's who have successfully completed their first ARRT certification exam begin the mandatory CE requirements on the first day of their next birth month after the exam. For example, a new technologist who is born in July passes her initial certification in May 2017. She begins her first CE biennium on July 1, 2018. She must report her CE activity in compliance with her ARRT® renewal two years later in 2020. To verify your biennium dates online, visit the ARRT® website at http://www.arrt.org and click on RT Directory.
Since requirements vary for each state, it is best to check with your state to see if a CE activity would meet the requirements of a radiation protection activity.
eRADIMAGING.com keeps a transcript of the CE activity you have completed with us. You can access and view your CE activity by logging into your account and clicking on "My Account", "Manage My Account", "View CE Activity." You will see a printer icon corresponding with each completed course. Simply click on the printer icon to print the corresponding certificate.
You don't need to send certificates unless you are asked to do so. Sometimes employers or the ARRT® ask for documentation of CE participation. Don't send copies of your certificates to the ARRT® unless they request them. For the ARRT® requirements for continuing education, go to the ARRT® website.
